Rates

Transfer and Restoration Pricing

Archival transfer and restoration is performed on an hourly basis at $75 per hour for the first hour and billed in ¼-hour increments thereafter. We do not charge a per piece rate for restoration. Rates for restoration services are best quoted upon after initial transfer of recorded material. Creative Audio Works takes a disciplined approach tailored to each recording and charging a fixed rate for this restoration service would be a compromise. All audio files are transferred onto archival quality gold CD or DVD and guaranteed to last 100 years by the CD/DVD manufacturer. Audio files be transferred to a customer supplied hard drive or loaded to our server for convenient delivery.

Additional Charges

Cassette repair or repackaging is provided at $75 per hour in ¼-hour increments (minimum order pricing applies.). CD's and DVD's are available at extra cost of $15 each.

Tape Baking for Sticky Tape Syndrome

This is a process occasionally required to restore analog tape to playable condition. In most cases, the need for this is not realized until work begins on your project. If this occurs, Creative Audio Works will contact you for approval before continuing. If approved, the below prices will be applied.

Evaluations

We urge you to call and talk to us about your audio needs. We can usually provide a good faith estimate over the phone. For a more accurate estimate, you may send your audio recordings to Creative Audio Works for evaluation.

Guarantee and return policy

Every measure possible will be taken to insure the safety of your recording. Creative Audio Works is not responsible for pre-existing conditions due to age or deterioration of the media. There is no guarantee that all material submitted could be repaired or restored. We make every attempt within our resources to restore your recordings to a listenable and enjoyable experience. All restored materials (CD's/DVD-A's) are fully guaranteed. Please contact us within 30 days if there are any problems with your CD's or DVD-A's. Creative Audio Works does not take responsibility for ownership of any copy-writes of recordings submitted to CAW for transfer.

Payments may be made by check or money order on a U.S. bank. Or we can invoice via PayPal at the completion of the job.
