Creative Audio Works provides audio transfers and restoration of records (16, 33.3, 45 and 78 rpm) and tapes (micro cassette, cassette, DAT, 1/4 track and 2 track 1/4” reel-to-reel). Recordings are imported to a computer using digital conversion. All processing is performed with 24-bit 96KHz precision using dedicated software programs produced for CD mastering. At this point, background noises such as crackles, ticks, pops and electrical hum can be reduced or removed in the digital domain using dedicated restoration software. The finished product is then burned onto a Compact Disc or DVD for worry-free listening and archival.
We also provide restoration of audio used in film and video production, as well as surveillance tapes. With these, common background ambient sounds such as air conditioners, wind noise and other forms of noise and distortion can be reduced or eliminated completely. |
